*The common cold tops the list as these terrible disease easily spreads through contact – coughing and sneezing into the air. Early signs of symptoms may include runny or stuffy nose, itchy, sore throat, sneezing and mild fever.
The best way to comfort them is to encourage to take plenty of fluids, including juice and chicken soup. Let your child have plenty of rest.
*Stomach flu – typically develops after contact with an infected person or drinking from contaminated water. Typical signs include vomiting and diarrhoea.
If this occurs prevent you children from dehydrating with an oral rehydration solution such as Pedialyte. Let your child get plenty of rest.
*Ear infection mostly start with a viral infection like cold. Your child may experience ear pain, minor irritation, and they usually have trouble sleeping. Most of these infections usually clear out on their own in just several days.
When this happens ask a doctor for pain relievers. Always use only the correct dosage when applying medicine.
*Pink eye, typically caused by a virus, it is an inflammation or infection of the clear membrane between the eyelid and the eyeball. This disease is highly contagious. If this happen to your child, then you need to seek a doctors advice.
*Sore throat are also caused by viruses and usually associated with other respiratory organ. Mostly they are cured when treated properly.
Let your child take plenty of fluids and encourage them to get plenty of rest. But, if the sore throat last for weeks, then it is best to consult a doctor.
