Chipped tiles can hurt children’s feet and may cause them to stumble. Wood flooring and carpets would be most ideal. Furniture should be tailored to fit their size with no hard edges. In addition, since kids are quite sensitive to dust and other allergens, make sure you use only hypo-allergenic materials for their linens or beddings.
